We invite submissions of original works in wearables, e-textiles, and new material systems for physical and mental health and wellbeing in all stages of life. We define stages of life from infancy to older age, to sleep-work-leisure cycles as well as healthy versus unwell phases in life. Our goal is to bring together a very focused and interdisciplinary network of researchers and facilitate a highly interactive, 2-day in-person symposium dedicated to research and design of a new generation of wearables and textiles. These two days, we will discuss sensing and actuating functionalities within wearables, e-textiles, smart-clothing; augmentation and enhancement of body capabilities through smart systems; new material explorations, and tangible computer interfaces to improve health and wellbeing. We welcome submissions from a wide range of disciplines in these technology crossovers within the context of the general symposium theme of health and well being in all stages of life.
